RANA PEDIATRIC FUND

This fund was created in 2017 by Dr. Sohail Rana, a pediatrician, professor, researcher and sickle cell disease and HIV expert at Howard University Hospital for more than 40 years. The fund operates under the nonprofit status of Howard University and provides much needed support for research projects, patient assistance, advocacy, lectures and education to benefit children with chronic diseases. Rana Pediatric Fund resources support emergency patient assistance, special programs, educational materials, partial salaries, and more. Other staff include Joanne Adelberg, Patricia Houston, Saher Iqbal, Momina Rauf and Cynthia Gipson.
